Altered State

On September 15th & 16th 2018 I hosted an exhibition in collaboration with Float. and Matt Congdon, which featured selected works of mine from 2018 alongside the work of nine other artists. It was held in the disused warehouse in Sudbury, Suffolk where I have my studio. The exhibition ran throughout the day with art workshops and on into the night on Saturday, with music performed by Soler and Kim Roman, and was open again on Sunday. A range of people attended, including the Mayor of Sudbury and Suffolk county councillors, alongside locals and visitors from further afield.

Mural and Paintings

Above you can see photos of my mural, painted to immerse the viewer in my work from the Branded Content series and three paintings from my series Gestures In A Digital Landscape

Branded Content Installation

My Branded Content installation, questioning the relationship between economy, art, materialism and the self, themes which also underpin the Branded Content paintings.

MNL_AKMLTR_

MNL_AKMLTR_ was shown at 7pm at Altered State. It is part of my collaborative audio-visual art project with Soler (George Airey), Orange House. My part in the MNL_AKMLTR_ project was to create a video collage and cover art in response to the music written and produced by Soler. Soler also created the animation for the title, credits and moments of transition in the film.

Installing Altered State

Altered State exhibited work by ten artists - Matt Congdon, Max Adrian, Raphaella Pester, Michael Irwin, Jade MC Anderson, Henry Driver, Jess Power, Noel Myles, Susie Disorder and myself. Below you can see some photos I took of these artists' work towards the end of the installation process.
